Hello, my name is Rebecca, and I am super excited to learn more about wine. I have not had too much experience with wine, and I have only drunk wine with family or when I have a wine night with my friends. But other than that, I do not know what goes into winemaking, etiquette, etc. I choose a pretty-looking wine and drink it.
I prefer sweet wines like white wine. I think it is too bitter when I have red wine, but maybe I'm just choosing the wrong red wine. I love wine, and I feel super fancy when drinking it, and I am super excited to learn more about the different varieties of wine and try new wines. My parents are big wine drinkers, so I aspire to be more like them and become a wine connoisseur.
At the end of the semester, I hope to be more educated about wine and the rigors of wine tasting/making. I am excited to go to wineries and test my wine knowledge. I am excited to host dinner parties and sip on some wine with friends; it will be super fun. I am excited for this semester and what I will learn!
