Wine testing 2: Week of March 27

Today I had Stella Rosa Blueberry. It is a white wine from Italy in the Piedmont region. The varietal is muscat/moscato.

Stella Rosa Blueberry is a refreshing wine rich and full-bodied with strong nodes of blueberry. The bottle says it pairs well with fresh fruit, cheese, spicy cuisine, and desserts.

The website TotalWine has a 4.8 rating out of 5 and retails for $9.97. It has a great blueberry flavor, but it is not syrupy or too sweet; it is a good balance.

I was a big fan of this wine. It was delicious, I could taste the blueberry flavor, and it was not too sweet. I did not have this wine with food. However, this wine would have been perfect with some fresh fruit and cheese, and I'll be rebuying this wine. I would rate this wine 4 out of 5 stars!

Wine Tasting 1: Week of March 27

On Thursday, I had some Cabernet Sauvignon from the Brand Artie. It is an Australian Cabernet Sauvignon made in South Eastern Australia.
Artie Cabernet Sauvignon has an intensely fruity aroma of bramble, cherry, and black currants. It is well-balanced in the mouth with smooth tannins and a fruit and spice finish. On the website Vivino, Artie Cabernet Sauvignon has a 3.3-star rating out of 5. It is a very dry wine that is slightly acidic with a tannic and bold flavor.

Personally, I am not a huge fan of red wines as they are too dry for me. I prefer sweet wines. This wine was not my favorite. It was way too dry, and I made a face every time I sipped it. However, the bottle recommends drinking it with food, and I did not pair it with food, so maybe it would have made a difference. I would rate it a 3 out of 5. It was okay, and the price was not bad. I got the bottle for $6 at food lion.
