WT 2: 3/28-4/3

I love Rose wines, and I always look for a good cheap Rose. I saw Liberty Creek Rose at food lion, and it was a 1.5 l bottle that was on sale for $8. Liberty Creek Rose originates from California. The wine type is a Rose and Blush wine, and the varietal is White Zinfandel. The bottle describes it as a delightfully crisp rose with notes of strawberry and cherry, and it is enjoyed chilled on its own or paired perfectly with outside barbecues.

The website TotalWine is rated a 4.3 out of 5. People describe the wine as a fresh strawberry bouquet, and bright cherry flavors lead to a crisp finish. I enjoyed this wine. It is very light and not too sweet. However, it is not anything special. I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5; it is good for the price, but I am sure there are better Rose wines. I did not drink this wine with food. However, I think this would be good with a charcuterie board.
